CHANGE THE NARRATIVE

Pandemic

As our lives shifted dramatically in a pandemic, people have had to adjust and grieve the weight. The great resignation, ksdlksmlfkms

this has shown that we no longer need to do it all and must priorities what's most important to us, our health? our family? our safety?

We've seen a surge of people walking away from toxic relationships, jobs, commitments, and grow closer to those things that support us,
love us, and offer safety in the realness.

As we look at storytelling, audiences are gravitating to real stories, humor, and. There's an uptick in documentaries as it's become more accessible and entertaining to watch.

We are seeing this change as individuals and society.

Narratives are ingrained into us at a young age. We perceive the world though that narrative lens and make decisions around our safety and worth. That belief if what stems culture and how we interact with one another. As children we are highly influential. What we fail to realize is that that narrative does not belong to you. It was taught and conditioned with reinforcement by your school, family, friends, and community. But the reality is, that narrative is changeable. You can create your own narrative that isn't put onto you. That is the gift we have as being adults. Though it takes years, and money, and privilege that many do not, there are still many of us who do have the opportunity to show up, stand up, and do what is right. These narratives are harmful. We are suffocated by themas a way to obey. To live in a fearful life.

How do we change the narrative?

If we look at psychology researcher.....

1. Name it.
- Hear the red flag in your body.
- Gut reaction
- Face getting hot.
- Holding your breath?
- Throat tightening?

2. Feel it.
Emotions often live in our bodies. It is our way to
Nervous system - is the translator between our bodies the external world.
Emotions - is the translator between the physical world and our soul.
You cannot rationalize out of emotions. You must go process them so that they do not live within your body.

3. What is the conditioned narrative?

4. What's your narrative?

5. Feel the narrative in your body.

6. Go forth.
